Prayer

“And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.” – Luke 18:1

As a church prayer is vital to our purpose. It’s in prayer that we receive the Lord’s will, and His wisdom and direction for our lives and ministries. We strive give place to prayer in everything that we do at Calvary Chapel.

Why We Pray

We are submitted to Jesus and how he desires to move in our lives and direct His church. Therefore coming together corporately as a body of believers is necessary in attaining His heart and direction in our lives and ministries.

“The condition of the church may be very accurately gauged by its prayer meetings. So is the prayer meeting a grace-ometer, and from it we may judge the amount of divine working among a people. If God be near a church, it must pray. And if he be not there, one of the first tokens of his absence will be slothfulness in prayer.”
-Charles Spurgeon
